SELLER'S GUIDE

KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE
Calusari Auctions will provide you with a free estimate of your work at auction value. Please send us a sharp photograph of the property and include the following information: size, medium, date, provenance, and other information you may consider relevant. Please note that the estimates are provided as an approximate guide to the current market value and should not be interpreted as a representation or prediction of actual selling prices. They are determined well in advance of a sale and are subject to revision when inspected "in natura". Alternatively, please contact us by
phone for further information.

WHERE AND WHEN TO SELL
Based on the auction estimates, you and Calusari specialists will decide the most appropriate season and venue to insure the strongest bidding for the property. We will also recommend an appropriate venue and possible sale timing.

CONSIGNING PROPERTY
Before you sell your property at Calusari, you must sign a consignment agreement in which we agree to sell your property in one of our salerooms. The consignment agreement lists the reserve price for your property and our terms and fees for services such as insurance, loss/damage liability, shipping and illustration. If you decide to proceed and sign the consignment agreement, Calusari will take the property in for cataloguing and photography.

PAYEMENT
After the auction, Calusari will notify the seller as to the status of each lot offered for sale. If a buyer wasn't found, you may decide either to re-offer your property or to collect it. Provided payment has been received by the buyer, we will pay net sale proceeds (the hammer price less the vendor’s commission and sale-related expenses) to the seller 7 calendar days after the auction.
